On 1st of February, Ambassador Albrecht Conze paid a courtesy visit to the Cabinet Minister of Energy and Minerals, Hon. Eng. Irene Muloni. One week before, on 23rd of January, he had visited the Cabinet Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Sam Kahamba Kutesa.

Ambassador Conze used these opportunities to hand over a letter of invitation from the German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Sigmar Gabriel, to both ministers to attend the 4. International Conference “Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue”, scheduled for 17th and 18th April 2018.

The German Embassy Kampala is very pleased to announce that Hon. Sam Kahamba Kutesa and Hon. Eng. Irene Muloni have confirmed their participation. The Minister of Energy and Minerals has further emphasized that she is eager to engage in a dialogue with representatives of the renewable energies industry in the margins of the conference.
